Stephanie Koesterman
Owner & Principal Designer
For Stephanie, great design is about more than creating a beautiful room. It is about understanding how people live, finding beauty in the unexpected, and creating spaces that feel collected, personal, and entirely their own.
Her approach is shaped by a lifelong appreciation for art, architecture, theater, travel, and the rituals of everyday life—from gathering around a beautifully set table to cooking a meal for the people you love. These experiences continually inform her eye, bringing a worldly perspective and an appreciation for the details, materials, and unexpected combinations that make a space feel distinctive.
Stephanie’s path to interior design is anything but traditional. She began her career in consulting and business operations at IBM and a New York-based private equity firm, where she developed a natural affinity for organization, thoughtful processes, and solving complex problems. After years in the business world, she followed her lifelong passion for design and spent six years working in the interior design industry, designing spaces and managing projects from concept through completion.
Today, Stephanie brings both sides of her experience to every project. Her design philosophy is rooted in timelessness rather than trends, with layered materials, thoughtful details, and distinctive pieces chosen to reflect the people who call a space home. Her business background brings an equally important perspective—ensuring that the creative process is organized, intentional, and thoughtfully managed from the first idea to the final installation.
The result is a client experience that feels personal and considered, with spaces that are designed to live well.
